More On The Mark Streit Captaincy And A New Arena Proposal

Earlier today, Mark Streit was named the first Swiss born captain in NHL history.  A lot of people thought that the captaincy would go to John Tavares, but I think that Streit is a great pick and he is the right pick.  Tavares will get his time to wear the ?C? at some point in the future.  Right now, at this point in Tavares? development, he should be given the time to learn from veterans, put points on the board, and further develop his game.  Tavares has great leadership qualities and will be with the Isles for a long time, but he can lead without wearing the ?C?.
