Fantasy Football Week 3 Injury Report: Updates on Arian Foster and the Top RBs

Nothing ruins your fantasy football team more than playing a running back that doesn't end up playing because of an injury.

Week 3 of the NFL season has several top running backs nursing injuries. Arian Foster, Reggie Bush, Chris Johnson, Darren McFadden, Peyton Hillis, Steven Jackson, and Beanie Wells are all battling injuries.

1) Arian Foster, Houston Texans

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Arian Foster is out today against the New Orleans Saints.

Foster is still nursing a hamstring injury, and has yet to make an impact with the Houston Texans this season after having a breakout season last year.

2) Reggie Bush, Miami Dolphins

Reggie Bush is probable today with a groin injury, but he will play on the road against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

He was a full participant for the Dolphins in practice this week. Start him as you normally would.

3) Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans

Chris Johnson is officially listed as probable with a rib injury for the Tennessee Titans for their game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Start him as you normally would.

4) Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders

Darren McFadden is nursing a shoulder injury this week but will play versus the New York Jets on Sunday, and is listed as probable.

He was a full participant in practice this week, start him as you normally would.

5) Steven Jackson, St. Louis Rams

Steven Jackson's quad injury has him listed as questionable for the Rams' matchup against the Baltimore Ravens this week.

Jackson will be a game time decision, but the Rams probably won't want to use him much, if at all against the fierce Ravens defense.

6) Beanie Wells, Arizona Cardinals

Beanie Wells will likely be a game time decision today, and will test his hamstring before the Cardinals game against the Seattle Seahawks.

He's probably going to play, but how many carries he gets is another story.
