Blowouts occur every week in the NFL. Some games are more shocking than others, but this week showcases three games will come as no surprise.
San Diego vs. Kansas City
Kansas City has scored 10 points in two games. Matt Cassel has thrown one touchdown compared to four interceptions.
Jamaal Charles is out with a season-ending knee injury.
San Diego is looking to bounce back after losing a tough one in New England.
All signs point to a blowout.
Philip Rivers will have a field day against the Chiefs secondary minus Eric Berry. Vincent Jackson will be one of Rivers main targets once again in a blowout victory.
New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
Seeing Buffalo relevant again is awesome. The fans deserve it because they are some of the best in the NFL.
However, they won’t be undefeated after Tom Brady and the New England Patriots come to town on Sunday.
Jason Campbell threw for over 300 yards against the Bills last week while putting up 35 points. What on earth do you think Brady will do?
Danny Woodhead and BenJarvus Green-Ellis will come to life against the Bills who are No. 21 in rush defense.
The best quarterback in the NFL will prove it once again. New England will win this game by two touchdowns.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts
I haven’t seen enough from the Steelers to believe that this is the same football team from last season. Winning at Indianapolis will be another step forward.
If they can manhandle the Colts it would set up a huge measuring stick game at Houston in Week 4. If they struggle to defeat the Colts minus Peyton Manning, it would be a huge cause for concern.
If Cleveland can defeat the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium, there is no reason why the Steelers couldn’t do the same.
