WWE Friday Night SmackDown Preview: What to Expect with Bret Hart as GM

Earlier this week, WWE.com announced that none other than the "Excellence of Execution" himself, Bret Hart, will be hosting this week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

SmackDown takes place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which is Hart's hometown, so it will be a nice treat for both local and worldwide fans to see "The Hitman" once again. The question is: What kind of involvement will Hart have with the already-in-place storylines?

Judging by the promos from Monday Night Raw this week, it appears the show will focus around the presumed main event between Mark Henry and Sheamus.

Expect this to be one of the focal points in the early goings of the show, with a likely promo featuring the two opponents and the temporary general manager in the middle of it all.

Hart could also be featured in the divas bout if his niece, Natalya Neidhart, is involved. Considering the hype building around Natalya and Beth Phoenix as the "Divas of Doom" and Hart being on hand, the WWE would want to capitalize on the opportunity to push the diva duo.

Two others that Hart could find himself in possible segments with are Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan.

Rhodes is the son of the "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, who is a WWE legend—just like Hart. The two could have a heated confrontation with the younger Rhodes insulting the former WWE Champion in some fashion, ultimately leading to Rhodes storming out of the GM's office.

Bryan, on the other hand, could be seen interacting with Hart due to the fact in his many accomplishments, Calgary's favorite wrestler has captured the United States title and been a No. 1 contender to the WWE title numerous times. Bryan could easily seek out the advice of a legendary technician like Hart on what to do with the Money in the Bank contract.

Regardless of how "The Hitman" is used throughout the show this week, fans will be happy to see Hart back on WWE programming, as it's always great to see the superstars of yesteryear—especially a legend the caliber of Hart—whenever possible.
