It’s no secret that the SEC is the best football conference in the country, and to anyone who says otherwise, just look at the last five national championships and figure out what they have in common.
The conference has multiple traditional powerhouses like Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia and multiple great coaches like Nick Saban and Steve Spurrier as well as storied and intimidating stadiums that should be on any college football fan’s bucket list.
This year, the SEC West is easily the best single division in the country and could be one of the toughest divisions of all time. Five of the six teams are ranked in the preseason Top 25 in the West alone, including No. 2 Alabama and three of six in the SEC West.
Whoever ends up as the winner of the SEC will be one good football team.
But perhaps the biggest question on everyone’s mind is whether or not the SEC can win its sixth straight national championship.
