Steelers vs Ravens: Joe Flacco Ready to Have Breakout Season

The game just started and Joe Flacco has already made his mark.  Flacco led a touchdown drive on the first possession, capping it off with a touchdown pass.  He and his teammates made it look easy, driving straight down the field.

Flacco's pass was caught by Anquan Bolden, a combination that is vital to the Raven's success.  The early success by the offense is sure to fire up the defense.  This Ravens' team has been waiting for the offense to match the defensive production.

The touchdown was set up by an impressive run by Ray Rice.  This offensive unit will continue to rely on their talented running back.  Flacco will need a big season from Rice if he hopes to continue his development.

This early touchdown isn't the end of the world for Pittsburgh.  Their defense will continue to be successful but this was a frustrating start.  It is now up to Roethlisberger and the offense to flex their muscle.  This will be an all day battle but a great early start for Baltimore.

As usual, protecting the football will be key.  Look for the first turnover to really shape the momentum of the football game.  The battle for the AFC North is already getting interesting.
