With New England Patriots running back Danny Woodhead nursing an ankle injury, it's for fantasy owners to grab Stevan Ridley and get him into the starting lineup.
Woodhead has been an integral yet situational piece to the New England Patriots offense since he joined the team prior to the start of the 2010 season.
The small and shifty running back has been ideal on draw plays, screens and quick throws to the flat.
He was held out of practice on Wednesday and although he hasn't been officially ruled out for Sunday's showdown with the Jets, there's a chance he won't go or at least his already limited amount of touches reduced.
Ridley has slowly but surely been integrated into the Patriots offense, and the rookie runner broke out with 100 total yards in Oakland last week.
Now he'll only have to split carries with BenJarvus Green-Ellis, and honestly, I think Ridley is favored by Bill Belichick.
The New York Jets defense is no pushover, but they've been more susceptible to the run than in years past. They are allowing 130.5 yards per game on the ground, a number that's likely giving Rex Ryan nightmares.
Besides the Dallas game to start the season, they have given up 112 rushing yards to the Jaguars and the Ravens, and 234 to the Raiders.

Yikes.
With the stout secondary the New York Jets boast, don't be shocked to see Bill Belichick attack the Jets' weakness, which right now is their run defense, with the powerful Ridley.
Belichick loves his running style because he possesses a great combination of size and speed.
I think Ridley could get close to 12 total touches in the game, and if he is successful early on that number could get close to 17 or 18.
We haven't seen what he can do as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, but with Woodhead possibly sidelined, I expect Ridley to fill his role on screen plays as well.
He's a must-add in any fantasy league.
