Tim Tebow: The Latest on Kyle Orton, Tebow and the Broncos' QB Battle

Tim Tebow and Kyle Orton, the Denver Broncos' two determined quarterback, remain locked in a training camp battle.

Orton has apparently locked up the starting job, according to Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network (h/t Rotoworld), yet the on-field drama continues.

Tebow, who started three games last year with a 1-2 record, has been upset at the lack of support from his coaching staff and front office.

It was even reported last week that Tebow thought he had been unfairly thrown back into the backup quarterback position.

Via the Denver Post:

"My dream, since I was a young boy, of being a starting quarterback in the NFL seemed to be coming true," Tebow told me as we stood outside the Broncos' locker room.

"Then, I felt like it was grabbed back away..."

After Tebow's phenomenal run as the starting quarterback for the National Champion University of Florida Gators, he became a very well-known and admired figure in the sports world. His devotion to Christianity has been scrutinized and has ultimately been one of the main reasons for his popularity.

Unfortunately, his religious beliefs have caused some to believe he is not a legitimate NFL starting quarterback.

Tebow is only 23 years old and he has a lot of time to grow into a great quarterback.

For right now, though, Kyle Orton and his cannon arm have the starting job in Denver.

Check back here throughout the day for updates on this seemingly never-ending training camp battle.
