Week 11 Fantasy Rankings: Brandon Marshall and More WRs You Must Start

The average fantasy football team will usually have three spots reserved for a wide receiver, with each of those spots being equally important. Most fantasy owners will usually pick one top-tier receiver to go along with two other average wide receivers since there are more significant pick-ups to make in a fantasy draft such as quarterback and the two running back spots.

Still, the receiving spots are important and they're especially important this late in the season when every point will count. These particular receivers are set to go off this week due to the weakness of their opponents secondary and they could benefit your fantasy team most importantly.

Brandon Marshall vs Buffalo Bills

It may seem a little far fetched to start a wide receiver that has Matt Moore passing him to it, but bear with me when I say that Moore starting at QB has been one of the best things to happen to Brandon Marshall and the Miami Dolphins. Marshall has been terrific in the teams past two wins with 106 yards against Kansas City and 98 more coming against Washington. He had a combined 15 receptions in those games as the Dolphins look to target him more.

The Dolphins are taking on the Bills for the first time this year and they'll be looking towards Marshall all game considering that Buffalo currently ranks 27th in the league in passing yards given up per game. With no cornerback or safety to contain Marshall, we can expect another possible 100 yard game out of Marshall to go along with a TD and at least seven receptions.

Larry Fitzgerald at San Francisco 49ers

The Arizona Cardinals will be taking on a stingy 49ers team that currently ranks first in rush yards given up per game. Take into account that the Cardinals had no running game to begin with and you'll quickly notice that it's going to be obvious that Arizona will be throwing all day long against a defense that ranks 26th in passing yards given up per game.

That could mean big things for Larry Fitzgerald who is coming off of an unbelievable game where he recorded 146 yards on seven receptions to go along with two touchdowns against an Eagles defense that was once considered among the tops in the league. The Cards won't want to test the 49ers rush defense, so there's no doubt that the team will be airing it out all day long to their 6'3" receiver.

Dwayne Bowe at New England Patriots

I would usually never bet against the New England Patriots, but you're going to have to take exception this year when you realize that they currently rank dead last in passing yards given up per game. Giving up nearly 309 yards per, even a Kansas City Chiefs team with a backup quarterback could loft it up against that swiss cheese secondary.

Take note that Chad Henne threw for over 400 yards against the Patriots in Week 1 and you'll realize just how bad the Pats defense is this season.

Dwyane Bowe will be the target for the Chiefs this week as the team hopes he can rebound after recording a dismal two receptions and 17 yards against Denver. Bowe has had three games with over 100 yards receiving, but hasn't had one since Week 5 when he recorded 128 yards against Indianapolis. With a defense that isn't daunting at all, Bowe may be overdue for a huge week.

Stevie Johnson at Miami Dolphins

With Brandon Marshall set to go off one end, the Buffalo Bills have a top-tier receiver of their own that is set to go off with Stevie Johnson. He'll be taking on Dolphins defense that currently ranks 25th in the league in passing yards given up per game and is basically non-existent in the middle. If the Bills can keep Johnson away from Vontae Davis and have him play in the middle of the field, he'll easily go off for at least 100 yards.

Johnson's coming off of a dismal week where he recorded eight yards on two receptions against a hounding Dallas Cowboys defense. Going against a weak secondary in Miami is perfect for a player like Johnson who is looking for his first 100 yard game of the year. The Dolphins may just be what the doctor ordered.
