If you think this is just your average game between the Cleveland Browns and the Oakland Raiders, you are completely out of your mind.
The Oakland Raiders are fresh off a huge win on the road against the Houston Texans, but even more importantly, the are dealing with an even worse loss.
Long-time Raiders owner Al Davis died last week, which left the NFL in shock. It left Oakland's tight-knit fanbase known as Raider Nation in shock as well, and the condolences and support in the aftermath have been overwhelming.
Oakland went out last week and captured a very emotional win, and I expect them to use this as a deep motivation for the rest of the season.
The Browns are coming in at 2-2 and have widely underachieved to their potential. It's the first game in Oakland since Davis's passing, which means the atmosphere is going to be somber, but passionate and inspiration.
I expect the Raiders to have an incredible home-field advantage.

What's At Stake:
This is a huge and emotional homecoming for the Raiders, who are also trying to stay in the race with the San Diego Chargers. The Browns are really one win away from being back in the thick of things in the AFC North, so there is plenty at stake in this game.

Fantasy Start 'Em, Sit 'Em and Sleeper:
![]()
Start: I almost have to expect that Raiders running back Darren McFadden is going to have a monster game. He's running in front of a home crowd and will feed off their momentum.
Sit: Brown running back Peyton Hillis has had a disappointing season so far. Perhaps it's a case of the Madden curse?
Sleeper: Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell is your guy in this game. Like McFadden, I see him feeding off the crowd for a huge game.
What They're Saying: CBS News writes about the contract negotiations between the Browns and running back Peyton Hillis. Hillis is in the last year of his rookie contract, but apparently, the discussion are not going as well as the Browns would like.
Bill Williamson writes about the first move the Raiders have made since losing owner Al Davis. The Raiders traded for former fourth overall pick linebacker Aaron Curry from Seattle. Williamson calls it a Davis-like trade.
Browns Player To Watch:
![]()
Personally I think Colt McCoy has the ability to be a Pro Bowl quarterback int he NFL. He's a good quarterback and a great leader. The Browns are only a game out of the fray, so I expect McCoy will do his best to lead the team.
Raiders Player To Watch:

I'm not sure if the Raiders newest member Aaron Curry will see the field, but if he does, it will be very interesting to see how he responds under not only the pressure of the moment, but also the new environment.
Key Matchup:
How will the Browns handle with the incredible passion and energy that will be coming from Raider Nation and their team?

On The Hotseat:
The Browns are going into an incredibly passionate and intense environment. I'm not sure if they are ready for it.
Prediction:
This homecoming moment is too big for the Raiders to squander.
