Gerry Cheevers spent time as a hockey scout and owning a race horse

Where Is He Now?: After retiring in 1980, Cheevers became the head coach of the Boston Bruins from 1981 to 1985. In 1986, Cheevers was hired as the color commentator for the Hartford Whalers. After leaving the Whale in 1995, Cheevers became a scout for the Bruins, a position he held for 11 years. During his time as a scout, Cheevers did color commentary work for the B's from 1999 to 2002.

Cheevers also had a foray into horse racing, owning a colt named Royal Ski that was the top money earner in 1976, but after the colt developed a virus, Cheevers left horse racing for good.

Cheevers was elected to the NHL Hall-of-Fame in 1985.

John Bucyk still works for the Boston Bruins

Where Is He Now?: Bucyk owns the distinction of being the longest continuous serving employee of the Boston Bruins. He has held various positions within the team for over 50 years and is currently the Team Road Services coordinator.

Bucyk was inducted into the NHL Hall-of-Fame in 1981.

Where Is He Now?: After a stint as the GM of the New York Rangers from 1986-89 (where he coached the team from 1987 to 1989), Espo helped found the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was the Tampa's GM from 1992 until 1998. He has since traded his NHL front office career for a job doing the Lightning's color commentary. He also co-hosts a radio show on XM.
