WWE could have a serious injury with Alex Reilly
It has been reported by several outlets that Alex Reilly had suffered a severe bicep bruise. Of course this isn?t normally a thing, but the fact that it was so widely reported should give us cause for concern.
Here is Wrestlingnewsworld.com?s Richard Gray?s response to the Reilly injury:
Alex Riley suffered a badly bruised right bicep at Sunday's WWE Capitol Punishment pay-per-view. As you saw on Monday's "Power to the People" edition of WWE Raw, he was able to work but did not last in the match long. While I haven't heard an update on his condition, the fact he worked in the match tells me he is going to be OK. As I noted in my original report, the worst case scenario would have been a torn bicep tendon and that does not appear to be the case.

I can understand what Gray is saying but I think the fact that he worked limited minutes in the RAW main event should tell you that he?s hurting from that injury. The question is whether or not he?s had a chance to a doctor look at it.
With the demanding schedule that WWE performers have it?s likely that Reilly is waiting to see a doctor. Also, don?t discount is desire to play through the injury. He?s got a lot of steam now and he needs to keep that going. Have to take time off would wreck that.
I think that Reilly is dealing with a bigger issue than he is letting on. Don?t be surprised if you see him in a limited role in the next couple of weeks.
