Grades for 2011 NBA Draft Picks 21 through 30
Here?s a quick look at the grades that I give for picks 21 through 30:
21. Portland Trail Blazers: Nolan Smith, SG Duke
Honestly in my opinion this was a horrible pick. Smith wasn?t even considered a first rounder.
Grade: D-
22. Denver Nuggets: Kenneth Faried, PF Morehead State
I?ve heard lots of good things about Faried and I think he will do well in Denver.
Grade: B
23. Houston Rockets: (to Timberwolves) Nikola Mirotic, PF Spain
The received Johny Flynn for a relative unknown. Big fan of this move
Grade: A
24. Oklahoma City: Reggie Jackson, PG Boston College
Jackson was underrated in my opinion. I think he will flourish with OKC
25. Boston Celtics: (to Nets) Marshon Brooks, PG Providence
Boston ended up trading for Jajuan Johnson, who could become ok. I liked Brooks here though.
Grade: D+
26. Dallas Mavericks: (to Nuggets) Jordan Hamilton, SF Texas
Would have liked to see Dallas keep Hamilton here, so it?s a bad trade in my opinion.
Grade: D
27. New Jersey Nets: (to Celtics) Jajuan Johnson, PF Purdue
Ended up getting Marshon Brooks in a trade that I absolutely love.
Grade: A
28. Chicago Bulls: (to Timberwolves) Norris Cole, PG Cleveland State
Surprising and unknown pick, traded him away for a good value.
Grade: A
29. San Antonio Spurs: Corey Joseph, PG Texas
I don?t generally argue with the Spurs draft picks.
Grade: B
30. Chicago Bulls: Jimmer Butler SF Marquette
Jimmy Butler is very athletic and will fit nicely in Chicago.
Grade: B+
