All 24 fighters participating in Saturday night's UFC 129 card took to the scales on Friday at the official weigh-in at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The record-breaking event will be headlined by welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and former Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields.
Riding a 15-fight win streak over quality opposition, Shields hasn't lost in over six years, and he is easily one of the top 10 pound-for-pound fighters in the world today. Still, many fans are unfamiliar with the Cesar Gracie student, and he'll enter the octagon on Saturday night as a significant underdog.
"It's going to be an amazing fight. I've been looking forward to it for years," Shields said in front of a pro-GSP crowd. "[Georges St-Pierre] is an amazing fighter. People can boo all they want, but I'm bringing the belt home with me. It's going to be an all out war, one you will never forget."
