2011 NFL Mock Draft has J.J. Watt Going to St. Louis Rams
The St. Louis Rams are in desperate need of a wide receiver. That is why I have a feeling they won't stick around this spot for long.
I can see them taking a shot at trading up to nab Julio Jones before the Redskins or another team grabs him. If they don't they will stick around and take one of the fine defensive ends that abound in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Steve Spagnuolo is a defensive mind that loves to put pressure on the opposition. J.J. Watt is one of the most sound ends in the draft. He has all the mechanics to make him a NFL mainstay for years.
The only knock on him is quickness and lower body strength. Watt has the arms to move mountains, but he needs to prove that he can get to the quarterback consistently.
The Rams are the perfect team for Watt. Their depth at the position allows them to groom Watt for a season or so before they let him loose for all four quarters.
