NCAA Tournament 2011: Clemson vs West Virginia Tied at Halftime

Can Clemson Pull the Upset?

The first game to start the day is already paving the way for some excellent excitement. Tied at 40 West Virginia did a tremendous job coming back and making this a game.

Clemson was owning this game from the start until West Virginia went on an 11-1 run to close the half. The Tigers have done a great job spreading the ball as three players are in double figures. Jerai Grant and Demontez Stitt each have 11 points.

Kevin Jones leads the way for the Mountaineers with 11 points and five rebounds, which includes a clutch three pointer with six seconds left in half.

The big momentum is on West Virginia's side and it should carry over in to the second half. Who will close this one out?

I picked Clemson to win this game and I still feel that they can. They played very well early on and if they can get back to it this game is theirs for the taking.
