WWE News: John Cena Granting A Lot Of Wrestlemania Wishes This Weekend

John Cena Continues His Great Charity Work By Taking 30 Children To Wrestlemania XXVII

If you have been paying attention to John Cena's feud with The Rock, you noticed that Rock constantly points out how Cena's main demographic is the children's audience. Staying true to his wrestling character, John Cena is granting 30 children's wishes this weekend.

According to TMZ.com, Cena will be taking 30 Make-A-Wish children with him to Atlanta this weekend for Wrestlemania XXVII.

"Reps from [Make-A-Wish] tell us 30 kids with "life-threatening medical conditions" from the U.S., Canada, and even Australia will attend Wrestlemania XVII this weekend in Atlanta," the report says.
"But that's not all -- the kids will be going to a private autograph session with WWE Superstars and Divas ... and afterward, they'll hit a pizza party hosted by Cena!!!"

There are a lot of fans, particularly older male fans, who don't particularly care for Cena's style in the ring, but it's hard not to like the guy when he isn't on-screen.

In his nine-years in WWE, Cena has been extremely generous with his time and charity work. The article points out that he is only one of four people to surpass 200 wishes granted - the others are Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Hulk Hogan.

Regardless of what happens in the ring at Wrestlemania XXVII this Sunday, Cena has further demonstrated why he is the biggest star in wrestling today. His work outside the ring is unmatched by anyone in the sport today.

Kudos to Cena for this wonderful gesture.
