2011 NFL Mock Draft: New Orleans Saints and Justin Houston a Good Pairing

Justin Houston Gives New Orleans Saints the Pass Rush They've Been Looking For

During the 2010 season, the New Orleans Saints hardly got any production of their defensive ends, as Will Smith had just 5.5 sacks and Alex Brown had only two sacks all season.

The signing of Shaun Ellis will certainly take some pressure of those two, but there's another way to do that as well: by drafting Georgia's Justin Houston.

Though it was originally thought that Houston would be an outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme, the latest word is that he will indeed by a defensive end in a 3-4.

And the Saints could certainly use him.

Houston exploded onto the college football scene in 2010, with 19.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks during his junior season, and is an incredibly athletic defender for a guy of his size.
