Penguins Set Team, League Records

You shootout haters should get a kick out of this.  From the Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins established a National Hockey League record this afternoon by winning their fourth straight game via shootout in a 2-1 defeat of the Florida Panthers at CONSOL Energy Center. Here are the final scores, goaltender of record and the game-deciding goal scorers from the four victories:

3/21/11           at Detroit         5-4, W             GDG: James Neal         Winning Goalie: Brent Johnson
3/24/11           at Philadelphia 2-1, W             GDG: Chris Kunitz         Winning Goalie: Marc-Andre Fleury
3/25/11           vs. New Jersey 1-0, W             GDG: James Neal         Winning Goalie: Marc-Andre Fleury
3/27/11           vs. Florida         2-1, W             GDG: Alex Kovalev       Winning Goalie: Marc-Andre Fleury

Additionally, Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury established a franchise record for longest shutout sequence at 150:14. He bested the previous record held by Jocelyn Thibault (136:13).
