A Spanish Soccer Player Completely Lost It And Hit A Referee In The Face With A Bottle

Granada faced an important match this weekend against league champions Real Madrid in Spain's La Liga. With just two matches remaining, all points are critical as Granada is trying to avoid relegation.

So, with Granada trailing 2-1 late in the game, you could understand if the players were upset that the referee ruled the game over rather than grant one final corner kick (typically referees in soccer will allow a trailing team to finish an attack before ruling the game over).

Still, no level of being upset can justify throwing what appeared to be a full water bottle at the face of the referee and than try to sneak away like a coward after the fact.
