One day after tearing his ACL while shagging flyballs during batting practice, Mariano Rivera told reporters he will come back and pitch again (via The New York Yankees)...
"I'm coming back. Write it down in big letters. I'm not going out like this."
Rivera, Major League Baseball's all-time career saves leader, has hinted that this would be his last season.
After speaking with an orthopedist, Rivera concluded that he can be fit and ready to pitch in 2013. He will be 43.
