Senators Sign Mark Parrish

The Senators have again dipped into the free agent waters, this time pulling out a reclaimation project.

Ottawa announced Friday morning it has signed winger Mark Parrish to a two-way contact. The 34-year old American is a decade removed from his most productive season in the NHL, when he scored 30 goals and 30 assists as a New York Islander.

Parrish hasn?t been a full time NHLer since 2007-08, as a member of the Minnesota Wild.

Update 12:29pm ET: The Ottawa Senators also sign Mike McKenna?The Ottawa Senators announced today the club has signed goaltender Mike McKenna to a one-year, two-way contract.

McKenna, 28, spent his second consecutive season with the New Jersey Devils organization in 2010-11, appearing in 39 games with the American Hockey League?s Albany Devils and playing two games in the National Hockey League.
