Sir Alex Ferguson has been on a major shopping spree this summer and, despite being the top team in England, Manchester United has seen quite the overhaul.
The additions of Ashley Young, David de Gea and Phil Jones, all young superstars under the age of 25, will become permanent fixtures at Old Trafford starting this year and that means somebody has to go.
We know that United is still in the hunt for Paul Scholes' replacement, but it is also time for Fergie to start selling off some talent.
According to Mirror Football it looks like he'll get that opportunity:
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is planning a new raid on Manchester United to sign youngsters Danny Drinkwater and Oliver Norwood.
Drinkwater, a 21-year old English midfielder, has never suited up for Man U, but has spent time on loan to three different clubs over the last three seasons - Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City and Watford.
He hasn't made an appearance on the English national team, but did get a good run with U-19's.
As for Norwood, he's a 20-year old midfielder that also hasn't made any league appearances at Old Trafford. He went out on loan to Carlisle United a year ago, but he has been capped by his national team in Northern Ireland after starting his career as English international.
Blackpool is entering The Championship league after finishing 19th in the Premier League table a season ago, but they should be a force down there.
Norwood and Drinkwater, if truly added, would be great young additions to Blackpool, would benefit greatly from more playing time with a first team side and would help in their attempt to get back into the Premiership.
And United has little to lose here. Neither youngster was pushing their way onto the field at Old Trafford and Fergie knows that if they were to become stars they may always try and force their way back later on.
