North Korean Women's Soccer Team Busted For Steroids

Two North Korean soccer players were suspended from playing in the Women's World Cup on Wednesday after testing positive for doping, according SPIEGEL.

The team declined a second test after starting defenders Song Jong Sun and Jong Pok Sim failed a urine test. This has been seen as a tacit admission to steroid use.

Now the entire team will be subjected to additional screening.

The North Korean coach blamed its 2-0 loss to the U.S. last week on half his team supposedly getting struck by lightning.
