This Yankees Player's Rough Night Included Boos, A Sarcastic Standing Ovation, And A Mocking Airplane Banner

As captain of the American League Home Run Derby squad, Robinson Cano was responsible for picking the participants for this year's contest. However, he did not pick Billy Butler of the hometown Kansas City Royals.

The hometown fans were not pleased. And during last night's Home Run Derby, they voiced their displeasure.

They booed his introduction. They cheered his outs. And they even gave him a standing ovation when he failed to hit a single home run. Oh yeah, and somebody even flew a banner over the stadium mocking the Yankees second baseman...
