WWE Money in the Bank 2012 Predictions: How PPV Will Set Up Ziggler Title Run

After Dolph Ziggler is victorious in his Money in the Bank match, a feud with Sheamus and a title run are inevitable.

Ziggler comes in as the obvious favorite to win the briefcase, and rightfully so.

Of the eight-man field that features Damien Sandow, Tyson Kidd, Christian, Santino Marello, Tensai, Cody Rhodes and Sin Cara, Ziggler has the most momentum by far.

After breaking up the tag team of Ziggler and Swagger, Ziggler clearly has more momentum than anyone else in the field. A Money in the Bank match should serve as the perfect launching pad for a Ziggler-Sheamus feud over the World Heavyweight Championship.

Ziggler has already had some experience with Sheamus recently. He stepped in for an injured Alberto Del Rio at No Way Out and also took on Sheamus in a singles match on SmackDown.

While Ziggler lost both matches, a victory at Money in the Bank could be exactly what he needs to put him over as a legitimate threat to Sheamus' title run.

With the past success of Money in the Bank winners in their cash-ins of the briefcase, it's hard to envision a scenario where anyone else wins the briefcase. No one else is in the position to receive the kind of push that a MITB winner generally receives.

Ziggler is a great heel to feud with Sheamus. His arrogance translates well to the crowd and the presence of Vickie Guerrero as his manager ensures extra heat from the crowd and provides flexibility in his storylines.

His athleticism allows him to put on quality matches with the bigger Sheamus and provides much more intrigue than his current feud with Alberto Del Rio.

With Sheamus likely to retain his belt against Alberto Del Rio, the few Ziqgler vs. Sheamus matches that we have seen should just mark the start of a full-blown feud.
