The 10 Huge NFL Stories That No One Is Talking About Right Now

Halfway through the NFL season, there are a handful of stories we can't stop talking about.

The Packers are the only dominant team around.

The Lions are a marauding herd of awesomeness.

Everyone is racing to the bottom to draft Andrew Luck.

And Tim Tebow is the both best and worst QB ever.

But there are some big stories out there we ought to be talking about: like a possible QB fiasco in St. Louis, the disarray around New York's other over-dramatic team, and the shocking misfires of Bill Belichick.

Last year's Next Big QBs have stagnated

Joe Flacco, Mark Sanchez, and Matt Ryan were tauted as the next Manning-Brady-Brees when they were rolling along last season.

None of them has reached elite status this season.

We certainly shouldn't write them off yet. But they're some of 2011 biggest under-achievers.

The division-leading Giants are actually in crisis

The Giants are two games up in the NFC East.

But they're currently trying to juggle a rash of injuries, some shaky play against bad teams, and an unhappy star running back.

Here's what Brandon Jacobs said about the win yesterday: "The most positive thing: I got family at home and I got a fast-ass car being delivered on Tuesday. That’s it."

Philly has the best rushing team in football

It's not a story that the Eagles have a great offense.

But it's kind of amazing that they have the best rushing attack in the league.

Andy Reid has always been a passing madman who was only interested in running inasmuch as it kept the defense honest.

Has he seen the light and realized he needs to control the clock to keep his horrid defense off the field? Or is Shady McCoy so good that he's making Andy forget everything he held dear?
