San Antonio Spurs faced a setback as they make a push to the NBA playoffs as they were beaten down by the streaking New Orleans Hornets.
New Orleans blew things open with a 31 point third quarter and the Hornets never looked back from there as the Spurs couldn't get things together.
"New Orleans played fantastic defense -- physical, physical, well-executed defense," San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich said to the media. "When you combine that with fine shooting, you're in for a hell of a night. They were wonderful."
Despite this bad loss, San Antonio is still poised to make a deep run in the playoffs this summer. They have a great coach, one of the best players of all time in Tim Duncan and there's still Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. That's hard for anyone to stop.
