Ben Roethlisberger: Steelers QB The Latest In Jets Crosshairs

Ben Roethlisberger knows today won't be an easy day. Despite not having to travel to New England and play the Patriots, that doesn't change the fact the Jets aren't going to roll over and die for the Steelers.

Unless they do.

But don't count on it.

The Jets went into Indianapolis, and while they didn't shut down Peyton Manning, they beat the Colts. Then they went into New England and did shut down Tom Brady, outplaying and outcoaching their rivals.

So the Steelers know going into this game that they can play well and still lose from the experience the Colts had, and that the Jets are capable of shutting any quarterback down on any given Sunday from last week's experience.

Roethlisberger is the unquestioned master of extending plays and making plays out of nothing.

That is the advantage the Steelers have over the Jets, and one you can not coach for. All you can try and do is contain Roethlisberger, if you can't do that, then all you can hope for is his receivers drop the ball.
