Drew Brees Breaks 52-Year-Old NFL Record With Another Beautiful Touchdown Pass

Drew Brees threw a 40 yard touchdown pass to Devery Henderson early in the Sunday Night Football matchup with the San Diego Chargers. But while this looked like just another pretty pass from Brees, this one broke a historic NFL record.

With the touchdown, Brees has now thrown a touchdown in 48 straight games, breaking Johnny Unitas' 52 year old record.

You will notice in the video that suspended Saints coach Sean Payton is in attendance. He was permitted to attend this week's game after a special request was made by Brees.
