Power Ranking Top 5 SEC Teams

Week 6 in the SEC gave us two huge conference games that brought the muddled SEC picture into focus.

In Gainesville, the Florida Gators proved that they are for real with a resounding 14-6 win over LSU. The win vaulted the Gators right in the middle of the battle for SEC East supremacy , and returned them to the national title picture.

Up the road in Columbia, the South Carolina Gamecocks took the visiting Georgia Bulldogs behind the woodshed in a 35-7 thumping that solidified Steve Spurrier’s bunch as a top-five team.
