In today's NFL, the quarterback position is one of the most important positions on the field and many times a team's success or failure is based on the performance of their starting QB.
The Chiefs have counted on QB Matt Cassel all season to make plays for their offense and so far, he hasn't disappointed.
His touchdown/interception ratio or 24/5 is good enough for second in the league behind former teammate Tom Brady and his QB rating of 96.2 in currently ranked 5th in the NFL.
As for the Titans, they haven't had as much success as this position, as they have gone with two QBs this season, and they will once again be going with their former backup and NFL journeymen Kerry Collins against KC tomorrow
Collins, the former Penn State product has been about average this season, throwing for 10 touchdowns and six interceptions while posting a QB rating of 81.5.
While the younger Cassel is trying to lead his team to a division title and the veteran Collins is just trying to keep the Titans in the chase for the playoffs, both teams know that their QB play will be huge in this game.
