The Minnesota Vikings have created this monster that is Brett Favre. More particularly, former coach Brad Childress has molded Favre into this. Favre has changed a lot since his time in Green Bay. From Jenn Sterger to Childress and everyone in between, Favre's life has changed. For better or worse, however you look at it, Favre is different.
The Brett Favre from the Green Bay Packers was always portrayed in such a positive, role model way. His moves to New York and Minnesota saw him get in trouble with the league (Sterger incident) and be viewed as the villain. Favre turned his back on the team that helped make him a star (Green Bay).
Favre should have retired after the 2007 season. With his banner year in Green Bay in '07, Favre led them to the NFC Championship Game, which ended in utter defeat. This wasn't expected to be the last time the world saw Favre in Green and Gold.
Here are five reasons why Favre should retire.
New York Mets Philadelphia Phillies Pittsburgh Pirates San Diego Padres San Francisco Giants St. Louis Cardinals
