One game before his brilliant two-goal performance against Germany, Italian striker Mario Balotelli encountered something strange on the sidelines.
While chatting with teammate Antonio Cassano during a break in Italy's quarterfinal match against England, Balotelli takes a sip from a bottle filled with a yellow liquid resembling Lemon-Lime Gatorade. After one quick swig, however, Balotelli realizes the drink wasn't quite what he expected it to be.
Maybe Balotelli's teammates were playing a prank of frat boy proportions on him, or maybe Balotelli's drink really was an energy drink gone foul. Whatever the case, all eyes will be on Mario Balotelli as his Italy squad takes on Spain in today's Euro 2012 final.
