2012 NBA Mock Draft: 4 Final Four Prospects Guaranteed to Be Lottery Selections

The college basketball season is down to three games as the Final Four is set to begin Saturday in New Orleans.

While Ohio State, Kentucky, Louisville and Kansas will all be competing to cut down the nets on Monday, it's also a big week for potential NBA draft prospects as it's one last audition for some potential first-rounders.

With that being said, the Charlotte Bobcats are once again on the clock.

1. Charlotte Bobcats: Anthony Davis, Kentucky. Davis is one of the best pro prospects in quite some time and showed why he should be a lock to go No. 1 overall in June's draft.

In Kentucky's four tournament wins so far, all Davis has done is average 14.5 points, 11 rebounds and 4.5 blocks. Not only that, but he's also shot an impressive 58 percent from the floor.

His length and athleticism is unreal and the way he completely changes the game on the defensive end of the floor doesn't come around that often. He's the type of young kid that will make an impact right off the bat in the NBA rebounding and changing shots. Charlotte won't have the difficult time they have right now stopping opposing offenses.

2. Washington Wizards: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Kentucky. Kidd-Gilchrist makes the rise all the way up to the No. 2 spot and is a fantastic athlete who will also be able to step right into an NBA lineup and contribute.

If he wasn't an unselfish player, he could put up some outstanding numbers. He's that good, but he showed what he was made of at the offensive end of the floor dropping a combined 43 points against Baylor and Indiana, after only taking a combined 12 shot attempts in Kentucky's first two tournament wins against Western Kentucky and Iowa State.

Not only can he score with ease, but MKG is also a terrific rebounder and an outstanding defensive player. He's got future NBA star written all over him.

3. New Orleans Hornets: Thomas Robinson, Kansas. Robinson is NBA-ready and he gets after it at both ends of the floor, leading the Jayhawks to the Final Four with a very solid March.

He's averaged 17.7 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game during the season and has put together solid tournament numbers of 15.8 points per game and 12.5 rebounds per game.

Robinson's not only a gifted athlete who can play way above the rim, but he's also as strong as a bear and can battle with anyone on the block. His motor never quits running and will be a big piece for a rebuilding New Orleans franchise.

4. Portland Trail Blazers (via New Jersey): Harrison Barnes, North Carolina. Would have liked to see him show some signs of being able to take over a game in Kendall Marshall's absence.

5. Toronto Raptors: Andre Drummond, Connecticut. NBA body who's ready to step in and deliver. Solid post player who can also rebound and play defense.

6. Detroit Pistons: Jared Sullinger, Ohio State. Sullinger's stock has been down lately, but he's answered the bell on whether or not he can play against top competition by helping lead the Buckeyes to the Final Four.

So far in the tournament, Sullinger has averaged 20.5 points per game to go along with 8.3 rebounds per game.

Offensively he's got a solid post game and is a very good finisher around the rim. He's strong on the post and has a very soft touch, allowing him to be tremendously effective on putbacks. Paired with Greg Monroe, Detroit could have a potentially dominant young frontcourt.

7. Sacramento Kings: Tyler Zeller, North Carolina. A bit of a reach here for the Kings, but coming off a very solid tournament, Zeller's stock is as high as ever. He would be a solid complement to DeMarcus Cousins

8. Cleveland Cavaliers: Jeremy Lamb, Connecticut. Solid backcourt scorer to pair with Kyrie Irving.

9. Utah Jazz (via Golden State): Bradley Beal, Florida. Utah could use a lights out perimeter scorer and Beal can certainly shoot it. He's a very good rebounding guard as well.

10. Milwaukee Bucks: Cody Zeller, Indiana.  The younger Zeller is a solid pick for the Bucks who need a center of the future after the Andrew Bogut trade.

11. Portland Trail Blazers: Meyers Leonard, Illinois. Portland has a lot of holes to fill and one of them is the need for a center. Hopefully this one works out better than Greg Oden did.

12. New Orleans Hornets (via Minnesota): Damian Lillard, Weber State. The top point guard on the board goes to the Hornets, who could potentially have a great draft by getting both Robinson and Lillard.

13. Phoenix Suns: Austin Rivers, Duke. Solid 2-guard who can shoot it as well as get to the rim. He's got a scorer's mentality and has the ability to become a team's No. 1 scoring option.

14. Denver Nuggets: John Henson, North Carolina. Denver simply can't leave Henson on the board this long. He does a lot well at the defensive end and can become a big-time shot blocker and rebounder. He also runs the floor very well so he will fit in nicely with Denver's fast-paced attack.

15. Houston Rockets (via New York): Arnett Moultrie, Mississippi State. Solid big man who can play the 4 or the 5 and can score from either outside or inside.

16. New Jersey Nets (via Houston): Perry Jones III., Baylor. All the talent in the world. If it ever all comes out on a consistent basis, he will be a steal this late.

17. Minnesota Timberwolves (via Utah): Terrence Ross, Washington. By Utah making a run and being in the playoff picture, the Wolves could land a first-round pick and get the shooter they covet in Ross.

18. Boston Celtics: Terrence Jones, Kentucky. The Celtics could use a solid big man here, but with the top big guys already off the board, they can't go wrong with grabbing a player like Jones. He's got talent galore and will make Boston bigger and deeper along with being a replacement for Paul Pierce down the road.

19. Memphis Grizzlies: Dion Waiters, Syracuse. Waiters' stock will keep rising after a very good tournament. He's a solid combo-guard who can give Memphis some additional scoring.

20. Houston Rockets (via Dallas): Moe Harkless, St. Johns. Already landing a solid big man, the Rockets get a solid wing player with enormous upside in Harkless.

21. Boston Celtics (via Los Angeles Clippers): John Jenkins, Vanderbilt. This is a need pick as the Celtics get a replacement for Ray Allen. Boston gets to replace the best three-point shooter of all time with the current best shooter in college basketball.

22. Philadelphia 76ers: Draymond Green, Michigan State. Doug Collins gets a player that will fit nicely into his system with Green. He's the kind of player that doesn't do anything exceptionally well, but does everything really well.

23. Indiana Pacers: Kendall Marshall, North Carolina. With many teams not needing a point guard, Marshall slides a bit, but Indiana can't let him slide past this pick. The Pacers are getting good production from their current point guards, but Marshall has the ability to become a fantastic floor general.

24. Atlanta Hawks: Tony Wroten, Washington. Wroten has the ability to become a good pro. Solid combo-guard who does everything well.

25. Cleveland Cavaliers (via Los Angeles Lakers): Jeffrey Taylor, Vanderbilt. Solid wing player with the ability to become an outstanding perimeter defender.

26. Orlando Magic: Royce White, Iowa State. Has the ability and the strength to play either the 3 or 4, but handles the ball and runs the floor like a point guard.

27. Golden State Warriors (via San Antonio): Kris Joseph, Syracuse. Joseph is a great athlete who can jump out of the gym and should help the Warriors, given their need for production at the small forward spot.

28. Miami Heat: Festus Ezeli, Vanderbilt. He could turn into a great pick this late. Ezeli's offensive game needs some work, but he will help immediately at the defensive end rebounding and blocking shots.

29. Oklahoma City Thunder: Tony Mitchell, North Texas. Mitchell is a very good defensive player with a pretty solid offensive game. Nice depth pick here for the Thunder.

30. Chicago Bulls: Alex Young, IUPUI. Solid scorer who could eventually turn himself into a second option behind Derrick Rose in the Bulls offense.
