GDT - WC Semifinals, Game 3: Red Wings (0-2) host Sharks (8:00)

Six of the past seven playoff games between Detroit and San Jose have been decided by one goal. DET are 0-6 in those games.  Jimmah has been brilliant this series, 1.91 GAA, .952, but it is all for naught as DET cannot score more than one friggin goal.  Of course it is difficult to score playing the damn game in your own end of the rink.  Quite simply, aside from the Circus line, DET?s forwards have been invisible. The Sharks 2,3, and 4 lines, to their credit, have played harder along the boards and won most of the 50-50 puck battles.  As a result, the majority of the games have been played in DET?s end.

Uncle Mike, after game 2: ?I thought they were better than us (in Game 1). I thought (Game 2) was more even. They still won more 50-50 pucks. ?We?re going home, we?ll have our crowd, we got to do something with it.?

That is a good idea Coach, because I am faintly hearing Elmer Fudd, err - the fat lady warming up.  Better hook the damn Shark tonight.
