Sunderland manager Steve Bruce is said to be interested in bringing Tottenham striker Peter Crouch to the north east,
According to a report in The Sun, Bruce is after an experienced striker to help push his side closer to European qualification next season, and Crouch looks like the guy.
The 30-year-old England forward has struggled to hold down a first-team spot at White Hart Lane this season, and with Euro 2012 looming on the horizon may be keen to give his international ambitions a push.
Spurs paid 10 million to Portsmouth for him, and The Sun reckon they'll want to recoup all of it.
