Pittsburgh Steelers Miss Out on Pouncey Twin, Still Fill Void
Doesn?t it seem like everyone and their non-football watching mother wants to see Maurkice and Mike Pouncey reunited in Pittsburgh so we can see them together on a special NFL twin brothers edition of Oprah?
Sorry, folks, that?s not happening. Even if Pouncey doesn?t have a great combine, his versatility will not allow him to fall to No. 31.
The No. 1 priority for the Pittsburgh Steelers, in my eyes, for years, has been to upgrade the offensive line. Somehow, some way, the Steelers? offensive line seems to do pretty well each year. Still, the Steelers desperately need to upgrade this bad boy unit to account for aging veterans and the usual injury they suffer each season.
Gabe Carimi can be a bad, bad man in the NFL. He has all of the tools necessary to dominate and he could very well become the best offensive lineman on this unit. Carimi fits the pounding, smash-mouth style of Pittsburgh.
Don?t fret, Pittsburgh, Mike Pouncey might not be coming, but Gabe Carimi is going to help pave the road to yet another Super Bowl appearance as he plows defenders to open lanes for Rashard Mendenhall and stops them in their tracks trying to demolish Ben Roethlisberger.
