WWE TLC Results: Cody Rhodes Defeats Booker T for Intercontinental Title

Backstage, Booker T cut a short, but effective promo on Cody Rhodes as their match was finally set to take place. 

Booker T came out second this time, and immediately began the match on the offensive, scoring an early nearfall off of a back heel kick. 

Cody Rhodes eventually recollected himself as he took the action to the outside and tossed Booker T into the guardrail before bringing the action back into the ring.   

Booker T battled out of a rest hold with a brief flurry of offense, but Rhodes battled back and slapped on a Full Nelson. 

Booker T fought out of the Full Nelson as the two exchanged strikes.  Rhodes sent Booker T to the ropes, but Booker T came back with a foerarm and followed up with a sidewalk slam for a nearfall. 

Booker T hit the spinarooni and sold dizziness.  Booker T then missed an axe kick and walked into the Beautiful Disaster for a nearfall.  Rhodes hit a second Beautiful disaster for the win. 

Winner: Cody Rhodes
