The phenomenon of "Tebowing" has swept the nation in full storm over the last few months, and now even players like Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger are joining in.
There's nothing wrong with getting down on one knee to pray, and those that criticize the move are more likely doing so because they don't like Tebow.
Still, it's become a popular move, and Roethlisberger did his own rendition on Monday night when the Steelers battled the San Francisco 49ers.
Of course, he didn't copy Tebow to the full extent of putting his fist on his forehead, but it's still a nice gesture from Big Ben.
After all, he needed all the love he could get considering he barely practiced all week because of a high ankle sprain. Roethlisberger is no stranger to playing through pain, but risking further injury was a bold move on his part since he'll be needed when the playoffs get here.
So a short prayer is no harm at all from Big Ben. It's no secret his image has been tarnished because of off the field incidents in recent years, so this could have been nothing more than a ploy to get people to like him more.
I don't think that's the case though, simply because he was hurt and was probably praying for protection.
Although, in the closing seconds of the clip we do see Big Ben glance at the camera and give a quick smirk, so I guess nobody really knows what his intentions were.
