Roger Federer won?t watch the U.S. Open men?s final between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic today (or tomorrow, depending on the weather). ?It's exciting for tennis that [Nadal and I are] doing something very special in tennis at the same time,? Federer said after his five-set semifinal loss of Nadal?s career Grand Slam chances. ?I won't watch, but I hope he wins.?What will Federer do instead? The six-time finalist said that he would spend time with his kids, and also do what he does second best to playing tennis: go shopping. ?I don?t know if shops are open here in New York Sundays, but I?m sure something is open,? Federer said.
Don?t worry, Roger, retail never rests in New York.
