No ATP events to be cut for shorter off-season

Proposals to shorten the ATP season by two to three weeks will not involve removing tournaments from the calendar, according to ATP CEO Adam Helfant.

"Not one event will be scrapped in our plan to create a more meaningful off-season for our players," he was quoted saying by DPA at the tournament in Tokyo.
