LeBron James may forever be on the fence about doing the Slam Dunk Contest, but he's in a class of his own when it comes to in-game dunks.
Last night against the Milwaukee Bucks LeBron dropped 35 points and the Heat needed just about all of them. The most exciting points of the night, though, came when LeBron split two defenders, exploded through the lane and left the three remaining defenders on the court staring at up at him.
He often has that affect when he takes flight.
James and the Heat are 22-7 on the season and starting to click.
Two of their last three losses have actually come at the hands of the Bucks so it was big for the Heat to finally dispatch of the pesky Eastern Conference team currently sitting on the outside of the playoff picture.
James is averaging the second-most points per game in the league behind only Kobe Bryant this season. Despite all the hatred he's received from last year through to this season, he's maintained a ridiculous stat line throughout.
He's the current leader in ESPN John Hollinger's advanced metric PER ratings by almost a full six points.
These types of dunks come when LeBron is on top of his game. Don't surprised if we continue to see more from the self-proclaimed King.
