The Sacramento Kings have fired Paul Westphal, the team just announced.
Westphal got into a high-profile tiff with petulant big man DeMarcus Cousins last week.
Westphal banned Cousins from the team for one game, and claimed that Cousins demanded a trade in a press release.
Cousins denied it, and was allowed to rejoin the team last night.
The team is just 2-5 on the young season.
