The Miami Heat Owner Lost $1.3 Billion In 2011

Micky ArisonForbes.com has released their list of the "Biggest Winners & Losers" of 2011. And making the list is Micky Arison, the owner of the Miami Heat, and the guy that signs LeBron James' paychecks.

According to Forbes, Arison was the fifth biggest "loser" in 2011, seeing his net worth drop by $1.3 billion. Warren Buffet topped the list with a $3.0 billion loss in 2011.

And while nobody likes losing money, and losing $1.3 billion probably stings, we shouldn't feel too sorry for Arison. Forbes says he is still worth $4.5 billion, with most of his wealth a result of the Carnival Cruise Line. He is the current CEO of Carnival, a company started by his father.
