SPORTS CHART OF THE DAY: Cam Newton Is The Best Rookie Quarterback Ever

Through eight games, the Carolina Panthers only have two wins, but Cam Newton is throwing passes at a record pace.

So far this season, Newton has thrown for 2,393 yards. At this pace, he will shatter Peyton Manning's rookie record of 3,739 yards for the Indianapolis Colts in 1998. In fact, at this rate (299 yards/game), he'll break Manning's record in the Panthers' 13th game.
