Two more teams fell from the unbeaten ranks on Saturday, clearing the path for a one-loss team to sneak into the BCS championship game.
Despite their blemished records, these three teams have a chance to win the national title.
No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners
Of all the one-loss teams, Oklahoma has the best chance to play for the BCS championship.
That's because they haven't lost to LSU yet and don't have to face them before bowl season. None of the other elite one-loss teams can say that.
The Sooners have a tough schedule ahead. They will have their hands full with Robert Griffin and No. 22 Baylor next week. But their biggest challenge comes in the regular season finale when they take on No. 2 Oklahoma State.
If Oklahoma can beat their in-state rivals, they will play for the national championship on January 9.
No. 6 Arkansas Razorbacks
The Razorbacks also control their own destiny, but they would have to complete a nearly impossible task: beat LSU.
Arkansas gets a shot at the nation's best team in the last game of the regular season. Their chances aren't great, but they'll play for the national title if they can somehow pull off the upset.
A win against LSU would give Arkansas an 11-1 record with four victories over ranked opponents. Sounds like a championship caliber squad to me.
No. 4 Oregon Ducks
Although Oregon is ranked ahead of Arkansas and Oklahoma, their road to the BCS title game is bit trickier.
In order to make the championship game, the Ducks need Oklahoma to lose to Baylor then beat Oklahoma State.
It's unlikely, but certainly not impossible.
If they get a little lucky, Oregon can have their rematch with LSU.
Sidenote: Oregon would get picked over Alabama for a rematch because the Tide won't win their conference and lost more recently. Sorry 'Bama fans.
Anyway, here are the full Week 12 BCS rankings.
