You couldn't ask for a week more filled with parity than week 6. Surprises will abound, including the Carolina Panthers stunning the Atlanta Falcons.
This is week that the Panthers defense will finally do enough to allow the Panthers offense to shine. We have seen Carolina flirt with success for far too long.
Their second win is on the way against Atlanta, in one of many shocks on the weekend. This is a tremendous weekend to be a football fan.
A quick look at the schedule yields some yawns from most. It would be foolish to think there aren't many marquee games on the schedule.
While a clash of titans is few and fa between, there is plenty to keep you interested, like these teams that will be on the right side of the scoreboard as the clock ticks down.
Carolina Panthers: The Atlanta Falcons can't seem to put a consistent effort together on either side of the ball. They offer a clear advantage to Cam Newton's passing game.
That offense will flourish as Newton continues to run the ball as well. The Panthers quarterback is hard to game plan for, and the Falcons have proved they are not up to such challenges. Carolina's defense will do just enough against a shaky squad to deliver a close win.
Cincinnati Bengals: The Indianapolis Colts are hungry for a win, but the Bengals provide a clear advantage in the passing game.
The Colts have looked dreadful against the pass in the last couple weeks, making Andy Dalton a clear candidate to have one of the better weeks at QB. This will be close, but I have no confidence in the Colts corralling the Bengals.
Baltimore Ravens: I really had hoped this would have been a better game. But the injuries the Texans have had to endure will make this an easy win for the Ravens.
There is hope that rookie Books Reed can step in an give his best impersonation of Mario Williams, but I doubt it. Ravens win.
