Glenncross Doesn?t Expect Punishment From The NHL

from John Down of Flames Insider,

Curtis Glencross doesn?t expect any additional punishment from the five-minute major he received for running Minnesota defenceman Clayton Stoner into the end boards early in the second period.

?I don?t think so,? he said. ?I think I would have got a call already from the league.?

Glencross felt like he was hung out to dry on the play as he tried to outleg Stoner for a loose puck.

?When you?re going in as hard as you can on a guy on the forecheck and all of a sudden he stops, you put yourself in a tough spot,? he said. ?Obviously I didn?t mean too . . . it wasn?t intentional or anything like that. It was just kind of a fresk thing. You hate to see it . . . obviously you don?t mean it to happen, but it happens.?
