Remember When The Cowboys Almost Knocked The Giants Out Of The Playoffs Last Year?

It's hard to imagine now, but the Super Bowl champion New York Giants were really, really close to missing the playoffs last year.

They played the Cowboys in Dallas on Dec. 11 after a four-game losing streak, and were in desperate need of a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

With six minutes left, NY was down 34-22. But they stormed all the way back, taking a 37-34 lead right before the two-minute warning.

The Cowboys promptly drove down the field, and seemed to tie the game on a field goal as regulation time expired. But the field goal was waved off after the Giants iced the kicker at the last second, and Jason Pierre-Paul blocked the next kick. The Giants won the game, secured the tiebreaker over the Cowboys, and eventually steam-rolled through the playoffs on their way to the Super Bowl.

But who knows what would have happened if this turned out differently:
